YEAR 6 PSHE PROGRAMME
A practical outdoor experience designed to help Year 6 pupils prepare confidently for the move to secondary school. Give Year 6 pupils the opportunity to reflect on their primary school journey, build stronger peer connections and develop the confidence they need for a successful transition to secondary school.

Who is it for?
Year 6 pupils preparing for the transition to secondary school.
What pupils will do
Pupils take part in a full day of team-based woodland challenges designed to build confidence, trust and communication. Working together, they build dens, tackle practical challenges, solve problems and take part in guided reflection activities linked to their primary school journey and upcoming transition.
Activities include:
- Team woodland challenges
- Den building
- Fire lighting (where appropriate)
- Water and resource challenges
- Reflection and transition activities
